"I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately, I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to put rout all that was not life and not when I had come to die discover that I had not lived." -Henry David Thoreau
You wake up and open your laptop to check email updates and notifications on the projects you handle. By the time you finish a third of the tasks, you look at the time and realize that you'll be late for school. You abandon your breakfast plans and head to the shower room. You're all set when you notice that your bed isn't fixed yet so you hurry and pick the blanket that's tossed to the bed's railing.
Living in a fast-paced world is not a walk in the park. Everything should be planned and prioritized. In the process, you may overlook important things. You become nothing more than a machine. |
