Today’s established reality has been indoctrinated by the powerful ones decades and centuries ago. In one way, it has accelerated the growth of commerce, science and technology through the introduction of globalization. Also, it has a created a trend or hype in the society that led to the creation of stereotype personalities most people idolize.
An example of established reality is the political setup in the Philippines. Since there has been a trend that actors become politicians like Joseph Ejercito Estrada, Ramon Revilla, and Tito Sotto, it has become a norm and expectation that government authorities should be actors first before becoming a public servant. Thus, the trend slowly became an accepted reality.
The current reality can imprison the aspiring innovator and game changer. Clinging too much to it can kill creativity and adventure.
