Once again, I try to reconnect with my inner artist.
Losing one's ability to feel and express emotions is one of the saddest things that can happen to a person. This numbness may arise from stressful situations as a defense mechanism--a desperate attempt to stay in control in the situation. It can make someone see his problem from majorly objective lenses, but will those lenses let him come to the appropriate solution? No for the best actions to carry out in a tight situation arise from the combinatorial use of objective and subjective lenses.
Humans, by nature, are subjective creatures. Any attempt to transform oneself into an automaton will only give detrimental effects--it can lead to feelings of emptiness and meaninglessness. Eventually, the person will degrade into an empty shell. When that time comes, he will only see one solution to end the monotony in his life--a physical death.
